Community Energy is proud to offer NewWind Energy^® in Connecticut to all Connecticut Light & Power and United Illuminating electric customers. Through a unique and voluntary program called CTCleanEnergyOptionsSM, Connecticut electric customers can support the development of cleaner renewable energy in New England.

33% NewWind / 33% National Wind / 34% New England Small Hydro Adds 1.3c/kWh on all usage

For a typical Connecticut home that uses 700 kilowatt-hours per month, participating in CTCleanEnergyOptionsSM with Community Energy will add $4.50 to $9.00 per month to your electric bill, depending on your level of participation and actual monthly energy usage.

When you sign up, your wind energy charge will appear right on your monthly electricty bill. Rest assured you are ensured the same quality and reliable service as always.
