Community Energy Solar at Temple UniversityTemple University Logo

Community Energy, Inc. is excited to announce the commencement of the Community Energy Solar at Temple University project. The first of its kind at a college or university within the city of Philadelphia, a 63 kW solar array will be installed on the south-facing roof of Edberg-Olson Hall, Temple’s football practice facility on 10th and Diamond Streets.

A few thousand PECO residential electric customers joined Temple University in signing up with Community Energy to build this latest solar project, at a time when little if any solar is being built in Pennsylvania. This latest solar project is a live demonstration of why it pays to choose the right electric supplier. Community Energy is the only electric supplier that is not only committed to building a green utility in time to un-change climate change, but is actually doing it.

Temple stepped up as a leader for this project, which was also made possible by the thousands of PA customers that chose Community Energy as their electricity supplier. Do you want to help us build the NEXT solar project?
