Position Description

Community Energy is seeking to add a full-time member to our legal team in a role requiring a high level of detail orientation, as well as strong communication and organizational skills. We are seeking a self-directed professional with the ability to succeed in a fast-paced environment. The Transaction Associate will be responsible for working with the development team to prepare draft legal documents, assisting with time sensitive project closings, tracking completion of legal requests, and other miscellaneous administrative tasks. The position holds room for growth in the exciting and expanding field of renewable energy development.

Qualifications / Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years professional experience required, work experience as a paralegal or legal secretary is a plus
  • Paralegal certificate, or comparable educational background is a plus
  • Proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint required
