Community Energy is currently seeking a new team member to support the development of solar projects and energy storage projects.  This position will be responsible for project development support duties, including but not limited to: GIS mapping, project site identification, permit research and analysis, regulatory research and analysis, project site reconnaissance, land lease negotiation, permit application preparation, and project development management. The goal is for you to grow as a project developer, and take on increasing responsibilities over time.

Qualifications/Requirements
•    3-5 Years of Project Development Experience
•    Proficiency in MS Office, including Excel, Word and PowerPoint required
•    Professional presence and strong communication skills
•    Excellent organization skills
•    Effectively manage multiple priorities simultaneously and meet assigned deadlines
•    Ability to think creatively and devise alternate approaches to challenges and improve upon existing processes
•    Ability to perform at a high level with significant autonomy
•    Notary or willingness to become a notary is a plus

Position Description
Community Energy is currently seeking a new team member to lead origination of battery storage opportunities and project development.  This position will be responsible for originating small battery storage pilot project opportunities behind-the-meter with customers in the Eastern US and seeing the projects through to commercial operation, including leading selection of technology and integration.  Successfully completing pilot projects will require significant front-end research and development to optimize project financial returns based on utility and RTO tariffs, project location and cost.  Following completion of the pilot projects, this position offers the opportunity for advancement through expansion of the energy storage business and scaled up project development.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in clean energy sales and/or development
  • Demonstrated track record of originating and closing deals
  • Demonstrated technical aptitude in clean energy technology
  • Experience reading and understanding utility and RTO tariffs
  • Willingness/ability to travel 30% of the time
  • Professional presence and strong communication skills
  • Ability to perform at a high level with significant autonomy

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in the energy storage business, behind-the-meter solar development and/or demand response

Position Description
Community Energy is looking for experienced sales persons to sell solar power savings over the phone to residential electric customers under fixed-price contracts.

Community Energy, a national solar developer, is currently developing community solar projects in Minnesota among other states, and will offer solar power to utility customers at locked-in prices that offer savings on their electric bill and protect against rising electric prices. Community Energy’s marketing team will generate leads and provide training and marketing materials to close sales.

Sales Representatives are expected to attain quotas and have the flexibility to work at home and set their own hours within appropriate calling periods.

Position Description
Community Energy is seeking self-starters with a passion for clean energy.  Promote community solar and make a difference by generating leads from interested residents in Minnesota (Greater Minneapolis – St. Paul region).  The Outreach Representatives will work closely with Community Energy’s overall sales and marketing team.  This role is community-oriented and focused on grassroots support.  Community Energy will provide training and marketing materials for all outreach associates.
Position is 3-6 month contract position.

Responsibilities

•   Generate leads for the sales team by collecting information from residents interested in community solar
