For as little as $4.50 per month, Connecticut Light & Power electricity customers can support the development of clean, renewable wind and hydro energy throughout the region. Signing up is easy! The charge will appear right on your monthly Connecticut Light & Power electricity bill, and when you sign up, you are ensured the same quality and reliable service as always.

Product Mix
 33% NewWind Energy® / 33% National Wind / 34% New England Small Hydro 

100% Usage 
Adds 1.3 cents/kWh to all usage ($9.00 per month for an average home), 

50% Usage
Adds .65 cent/kWh (less than one penny) to all usage ($4.50 per month for an average home) 

By signing up for CTCleanEnergyOptions^SM, a portion of your electricity will be powered by these pollution-free energy sources. For a typical Connecticut home that uses 700 kilowatt-hours per month, participating in CTCleanEnergyOptions with Community Energy will add $4.50 to $9 per month to your electric bill.
