Ribbon Cutting Events Celebrate New Solar Installations in New Jersey

Community Energy celebrated the completion of two new solar installations with recent ribbon cutting ceremonies.  In September, the New Jersey State Nurses Association (NJSNA), headquartered in Trenton, NJ, held a ribbon-cutting event for its 23 kW rooftop system, which Community Energy owns and operates.

In November, Community Energy joined Constellation Energy and the City of Vineland, NJ to celebrate the completion of a 6.5 MW ground-mounted solar system.  Community Energy Solar served as the developer on the Vineland Solar project, which is owned and operated by Constellation Energy.

It’s Award Season for Green Power Customers!

Who needs an Oscar? Our green power customers are winners and they have the awards to prove it!  In November, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, the U.S. Department of Energy, and the Center for Resource Solutions, sponsored the 2011 Green Power Leadership Awards.  Community Energy customer Franklin & Marshall College was awarded the national Green Power Purchasing award for their leading sponsorship of the Keystone Solar Project in Pennsylvania.
