They Grind Your Bones to Make Their Bread



My high school’s Green Campus Initiative recently added an impressive piece of hardware. The Lawrenceville School’s sustainability program includes a LEED certified building, biodiesel production facilities and vehicles, and an organic vegetable garden that helps to feed the campus. A Good Reason to Lose a Customer



Normally, we are never happy to lose a member of our renewable energy customer community.  This week, a long time customer in Virginia contacted me to cancel his service.  When I found out why, I was happy about it.  He was cancelling because he is now producing all of his own electricity at home using solar panels and a small wind turbine.

Urban Biking Good for Humanity



I just started riding my bicycle to work- from New York City’s Lower East Side to Madison Square Park- and I have to say that it is very empowering.  No longer restricted by the schedule of the subway, I am free to ride where and when I want.  Call me a romantic, but I also consider it quite unifying.  I even find myself wanting to wave to other bicyclists in the bike lane.  That will probably stop as I become a more seasoned...
