Community Energy, a leading national wind energy marketer, is seeking energetic self-starters with a passion for promoting clean energy. Promote clean, homegrown wind and solar power and make a difference by signing up new residential and small business customers in Community Energy’s local green power programs available throughout the Northeast. Salespeople will work closely with Community Energy’s overall sales and marketing team. This is a community-oriented, grassroots effort and lots of fun. Sales opportunities are currently available in Connecticut and New York.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Enroll new customers for their local clean energy program
  • Part-time flexible schedule (10-20 hours per week)
  • Weekend work required

Sales and Marketing channels include:

  • Event Marketing (Fairs, Concerts, Festivals)
  • Tabling at retail locations (Natural Food Stores, Farmers Markets)
  • Presenting to community/environmental groups
  • Grassroots networking through local organizations/neighborhoods

Ideal candidates will possess the following:

Community Energy, Inc., a leading renewable energy developer and marketer, is currently seeking highly motivated candidates for a full-time retail analyst position. This position is responsible for the daily management of the company’s renewable energy credit (REC) portfolio and contract management systems, and will assist with financial and supply position reporting, as well as other related projects as necessary. The position will be based in Radnor, Pennsylvania.

Responsibilities of the Position Include:

  • Manage company’s proprietary environmental portfolio system to track renewable energy supply.
  • Maintain revenue, costs, and expense forecasts for REC programs.
  • Work closely with accounting personnel to assure that deadlines and goals are met for month-end close, invoicing, and special requests.
  • Lead data management and analysis.
  • Complete financial analysis and modeling.
  • Facilitate contracting process for both REC supply and REC sales and monitor contract compliance.
  • Communicate with external parties to satisfy timely compliance filings.
  • Other tasks as requested by management.


  • Bachelor’s Degree in math, finance, statistics, accounting, business, or a related field pertaining to an analytical field of study; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum 2-5 years of experience in accounting, business operations, or related field.
  • Direct Accounting, and/or Business experience in the renewable energy industry, especially pertaining to the REC markets a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to manage and manipulate large volumes of data while maintaining a high level of data integrity.
  • Above-average MS Office software skills, including advanced proficiency in MS Excel and MS Access.
  • A self-starter with intense attention to detail, flexibility, and the ability to multi-task.
  • Ability to work well independently and in a team environment.
  • Excellent oral and written English communication skills.
